Participants will be introduced to key portraiture terminologies, the concept of values (light and dark), and how values change based on location. We'll explore the differences between graphite and charcoal and how to mix the two for effective shading. Techniques for line versus shade and shading for different hair colours (blonde and dark) will also be discussed.
