Darkness seems to isolate us from the world, but it also has a magical presence in reality, which releases us from all anguish. When the light is out in a cinema you become independent from your surroundings, connecting with the characters in the film and experiencing their emotions. 'Secret Cinema' is a film screening section in the exhibition composed of eight short art films or video works. It invites the audience to the stories of ana, told by ana, and encourages them to emotionally connect with the protagonists in the stories.

The films on ‘Secret Cinema’ are directed by Ayoung Kim, Sojung Jun, HyunMi Yoo and Red Carpet Sprit (lead by Ingeun Kim)

Secret Cinema is held at Masrah Al Qasba every weekend throughout the exhibition period. It also travels to ‘Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art in China on Saturday 19^th December, 2016.
