Maraya Art Centre will be participating at the seventh addition of Abu Dhabi Art and will be located within the Abu Dhabi Art Community highlighting its latest initiatives alongside other non-profit creative organizations from the U.A.E.
Maraya's booth will be screening ‘Secret Cinema’ films – an extension of “[ana] please keep your eyes closed for a moment” exhibition . ‘Secret Cinema’ is composed of short art films or video works. It invites the audience to the stories of ana, and encourages them to emotionally connect with the protagonists in the stories.
These films, which will be played on loop, include Sojung Jun’s ‘Treasure Island’, ‘The Twelve Rooms’ and ‘Last Pleasure’, as well as Ayoung Kim’s ‘PH Express’ and ‘Zepheth, Whale Oil from the Hanging Gardens to You, Shell 3’.
