She has worked as a photojournalist covering regional news such as 2005 Pakistan Earthquake Aftermath, and 2014 report on the UAE-Jordanian Syrian Refugee camp in Amman. She has also worked in commercial field with clients such as: Rolls Royce, Emaar and Gucci.

She has exhibited locally and internationally including Photography Biennial in Brescia, Italy and more current group exhibition touring the USA: Past Forward.

The workshop is broken up into two parts. The first part consists of a pre-workshop exercise where each participant is asked to explore the concept of transition and their personal relationship to transition whether it’s to document a recent geographical transition they have gone through or perhaps a more abstract approach based on more emotional experience.

At the workshop participants will be asked to work in pairs/small groups to find a transition within the four walls of the classroom. They will present a quick 3mins idea proposal and discuss how they could develop the idea into a concept project.

After the quick presentation, there will be a mini critique of the pre-workshop exercise where students will be given feedback on their ideas and recommendations on how to continue with their project.

The aim of the workshop is to assist conceptual development of an idea that can then transform into a project.
