It is an intensive one-day training in work with paper and experiment the possibilities of paper as object and puppet. Participants will enjoy the mixture between visual theatre elements and the puppet theatre techniques. The workshop will provide a platform to develop their own ideas. The workshop aims to share a simple, accessible way of puppetry to children and teachers. This method offers a complex and joyful approach to puppetry introducing object theatre by using paper. The paper offers an infinite number of variations for use, thus also to make puppets and to transform an improvised story into reality. To make up the workshop first we are using the tools of drama pedagogy and on the other hand, the Puppet Theater and visual theatre components. We wish to facilitate a culture of thinking through puppetry in which students feel empowered to develop their own original ideas.
